Teruyuki Fujita, Ph.D.

Teruyuki Fujita, Ph.D., is a professor at the Institute of Human Sciences at the University of Tsukuba. He teaches career guidance and counseling at the College of Education, as well as comparative policy studies on career development for youth at the Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences.

 

Dr. Fujita began his professional career in 1993 as an assistant professor at a private university. In 1998, he returned to the University of Tsukuba as an associate professor, a position he held for ten years. In 2008, he was appointed principal researcher for career guidance at the National Institute for Educational Policy Research of Japan (NIER) while also serving as a senior specialist in student guidance at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).

 

He has held his current position since 2013 and now serves as the Chair of the Department of Educational Sciences at the Institute of Human Sciences, University of Tsukuba.
